Singles Parties, May 27 - 31, 2008

Four Singles Parties this past week:

• Mid-Life Singles Mixer, Tuesday, May 27, at Captain Blythers in Benicia. Big crowd! Always a surprise to have so many come out on a Tuesday night to a party in tiny Benicia. We got to view the gorgeous sunset from this wonderful restaurant, with panoramic views.
• Financial Planning for Singles Seminar & Party, also on Tuesday, May 27, at Bay Cafe at the Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course. Another big crowd. Timothy R. Yee, the financial planning guru for singles, gave another enlightening talk on "10 Steps to Financial Freedom."
• Wine Tasting & Shopping Party, Friday, May 30, Sports Basement at Potrero Hill in San Francisco. Very disappointing turnout, less than half of the size of last year's party at the same location. Where was everyone?
• Baby Boomers Bash, Saturday, May 31, Concord Hilton. Tremendous crowd! We will definitely do another soon, in a different city, of course.

Next week features three more parties:

• Single Mingle, Tuesday, June 3, Hunter SteakHouse, Santa Rosa. This is our first party in this location. Hope to attract a lot of friendly singles!
• Outdoor Wine Tasting, Friday, June 6, Cal Shakespeare Theater in Orinda. We have our fingers crossed that it will be great weather and a great party! And of course, we're hoping for another thrilling sunset.
• Solano Singles Convention, Saturday, June 7, Courtyard by Marriot, Vallejo. Two daily newspapers, The Vallejo Times Herald and The Fairfield Daily Republic,are doing feature stories around our Keynote Speakers, authors Jerusha Stewart and George Joyce. Their topic: "I Can't Get No... Satisfaction." Ain't it the truth! Singles are always complaining that their romantic relationships are unsatisfying. Find out from the experts how to change your luck! Dance Party follows entertaining presentation.

This morning (Sunday, June 1) I was interviewed live on KRON4 TV, with author Jerusha Stewart (see above) about our upcoming Single Cougars Party, Thursday, June 12, in San Francisco. It was a fun segment. Hope you caught it.
