Singles Parties, August 8-9, 2008

Two very successful parties this past weekend:
  • Lock & Key & Dance, Friday, Aug 8, at Spengers in Berkeley. We were worried about attendance, because we had strong competition from three major events: Opening Night Celebration at the Olympics; Giants-Dodgers Game; and 49ers-Raiders Game. We need not have worried. Big crowd, which enjoyed the large wooden dance floor and great music from DJ Slick.
  • Party on the Bay, Saturday, Aug 9, at The Sherman in Burlingame. The Peninsula's only floating restaurant was the perfect venue for a large turnout!

We have three parties this coming week:

  • Mid-Life Singles Mixer, Monday, Aug 11, at Faz at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Pleasanton. This is our first party at the Pleasanton Faz (we have had several at the Danville Faz). Weather permitting, we will be able to socialize on the lovely outdoor patio of this upscale restaurant. Otherwise, we will party indoors. Annie Gleason of Get a Love Life is the guest of honor. She will answer all of your personal questions about Mid-Life dating.
  • Young Single Professionals Mixer & Dance, Friday, Aug 15, at Blue Chalk Cafe in Palo Alto. This is also our first-time party at this fun venue, which features music, appetizers, Mixer Game, and billiards. Co-sponsored with Singles Supper Club.
  • Lock & Key & Dance, Saturday, Aug 16, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Burlingame. Last week's Lock & Key in Berkeley was so successful (see above) that we hope for another large crowd this week! We haven't done a party at the Crowne Plaza in many years, so we are excited about this return engagement.

Details about all of our events at www.ThePartyHotline.com. See you at the parties!
