Singles Parties, Feb 19-24, 2008

A busy week, featuring 5 events. On Tuesday, Feb 19 we had a very nice turnout for our Singles Mixer at Circa Restaurant, in the Marina District of San Francisco, despite heavy rain.

The big one for the week was our Lock & Key & Dance at Illusions Night Club in Palo Alto on Friday, Feb 22. Big crowd, dance floor was packed all night. Prior to the party we had an optional progressive dinner that was delicious, as always at Illusions. DJ HickeyB! spun his usual magic, and the superb lights and ambiance of this, the finest night club in the Silicon Valley, made for a great party!

On Saturday night, Feb 23, we had a Wine Tasting & Shopping Party at the giant Sports Basement in Walnut Creek. I was unable to attend, because of a family funeral, but Patrick Dalal and Jim Spillane, I am sure, ran a fine party.

On Sunday night, Feb 24, we had two events. I wish I could have hosted the special Singles Party and Concert at the Marin Symphony, but I was busy that night teaching a seminar on The Art of Flirting at Santa Rosa Jr College. The seminar was lots of fun. Debby reports to me that the Marin Symphony party and performance were well-attended and lots of fun.

Next week we have 3 more singles events. Friday, Feb 29 is Leap Day, and we have two parties that night. Our annual Monterey Bay Singles Convention features an entertaining keynote on "Meet Your Mate in 2008," with "America's Dating Coach," Jeannine Kaiser, followed by dancing to your favorite hits. Originally scheduled for January 4th, the Great Storm that night forced us to postpone until Feb 29. It should be a great night!

Also on Feb 29 we have our Leap Day Party for Young Single Professionals, at Lion and Compass in Sunnyvale. This was the venue for our spectacular New Year's Eve party and once again should be the site for a fun evening!

San Francisco's LARGEST annual singles party is The Singles Charity Ball, Saturday, March 1st, at the world famous Westin St Francis Hotel on Union Square in San Francisco. This year we are in a larger space, the California Ballroom, so we can accommodate an even larger crowd. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes to The Seva Foundation to cure blindness. Hope you can make it--and please spread the word to all of your friends.

More info at www.ThePartyHotline.com. See you at the parties!
