Singles Parties, May 1-2, 2009

Due to the rainy weekend and the swine flu hysteria, attendance was down at both of our parties this past weekend:
  • Baby Boomers Convention, Friday, May 1, at the Clarion SFO in Millbrae. Timothy R. Yee of Cathedral Financial Group gave an entertaining talk on How to Save Your ASSets from Uncle Sam. I personally learned a few important financial facts! We had a fun dance party, afterwards, with DJ Mike doing another fine job for us. The San Francisco Chronicle sent a reporter and a photographer, so hopefully you will be able to read about the convention in greater detail.
  • Singles Mixer with Live Band Dance, Saturday, May 2, at City Beach in Fremont. This was our first party at this huge facility. Our singles had fun with the Mixer Game, then stayed for the Live Music of The Wade Love Band.
We have 3 more singles parties this coming week:
  • Single Mingle, Thursday, May 7, at the Hilton Santa Cruz. Our last party at this lovely hotel attracted 170 singles. Hopefully we will get another big crowd this time!
  • Lock & Key Dance, Friday, May 8, at Trader Vic's at Dinah's Garden Hotel in Palo Alto. Always a huge crowd at this lovely ballroom. Our first Lock & Key at this location.
  • Singles Mixer & Live Band Dance, Saturday, May 9, at Choices in Benicia. This is our first party at this night club. Our fun Mixer Game is followed by dancing to a live band. Singles of Solano (SOS) is co-sponsoring this party with us, so we are hoping for a great turnout!
More details about all of our events at www.thepartyhotline.com. See You at the parties!

Hi Rich,

I have been a club and corporate DJ for 20 years. Would love to mix at one of your events and show what I can do. The first one is free! fungod@gmail.com

Any plans to have a Boomers dance in Marin or Sonoma County?

I'm the author of Author of Better Than I Ever Expected: Straight Talk about Sex After Sixty (http://www.joanprice.com/BetterThanExpected.htm )
and I could present some juicy tips for the Boomer generation (not just over 60).
