Singles Parties, November 19 - 27, 2010

4 parties over the past two weeks:

• Taxi Dance, Friday, November 19, at the Hilton Oakland Airport. Small turnout, due to rain and lots of accidents on the freeways causing heavy backups. But I still think the crowd should have been larger. Perhaps our singles didn't like the theme, Ladies Get Paid a Dime a Dance? I thought it was a cute theme.
• California Cougar Convention, Saturday, November 20, at The Standard in Fresno. Fun event, lots of news coverage. We were on NBC's Today Show on Monday, Nov 15. Congrats to Amy Luna, Miss Cougar East Bay, who was crowned Miss Cougar California at the convention. She won a free vacation at Hedonism II in Jamaica during International Cougar Week, March 27 - April 2, 2011.
• Sausalito Waterfront Single Mingle, Tuesday, November 23, at The Spinnaker. Great party, as always, at this wonderful location. It was a clear night, so we had a spectacular view of San Francisco and the Bay!
• Thanksgiving Match Your Key Dance, Saturday, November 27, at David's Restaurant at the Santa Clara Golf & Tennis Club. Nice turnout, as is always the case with our annual Thanksgiving party.

Next week features two more parties:

• Cougar Holiday Mixer, Tuesday, Nov 30, at the Walnut Creek Marriott. Amy Luna, Miss Cougar California (see above) will give an exciting talk about "Cougar Sex & Dating. "We will also have a fun Mixer Game, prizes, and appetizers. Should be a fun night!
• Holiday Dance, Friday, Dec 3, at the Clarion SFO in Millbrae. Our annual SF Peninsula Holiday Dance always draws a crowd.
