Parties, March 13-17, 2007
We began the week with a Welcome Spring Party at The Spinnaker in Sausalito on March 13. We lucked out with the weather again, with a very nice view of the SF Skyline and the Bay. The Spinnaker must be our good luck charm. Always a great crowd, always a clear evening. Hopefully that will continue.
We concluded the week with a St Patrick's Day Party at Pasta Pelican Restaurant in Alameda. As always the food was terrific, as was the view of the water and Jack London Square. DJ HickeyB! worked his usual magic with the music and the party went well. Not as many people attended as our last party at Pasta Pelican, however. Maybe people preferred to go out to a local bar with no cover charge to celebrate St. Paddy's Day?
This weekend we have three parties, beginning early on Thursday, March 22 with a Singles Mixer & Live Band Dance at Rafter's in Downtown San Rafael. Mas Cabeza, a Latin Jazz Band, will be performing. We will have appetizers and our fun Mixer Game as well.
On Friday we have our monthly Young Single Professionals Mixer. Last month over 150 singles attended the party at The Cellar in SF. This month's YSP party returns to the Silicon Valley, to Arthur's Restaurant in Santa Clara. $10 at the door includes a Mixer Game, plus appetizers first hour.
The Grand Finale is our Singles Charity Ball on Saturday, March 24, at the world-famous Westin St Francis Hotel on Union Square in SF. I produce 150 singles parties a year, but I am most proud of this one--100% of the donations at the door will go directly to The Seva Foundation in Berkeley to cure blindness. We are hoping to raise $10,000 tonight, which will cure 200 blind people (at an average cost of $50 per cataract surgery in the poor countries of the world). If you cannot attend, please donate anyway at www.Seva.org.
More details at www.ThePartyHotline.com. See you at the parties!
