Singles Parties, October 2-6, 2007

Our 3 parties this week began on Tuesday night, Oct 2, with a Wine Tasting Party at Pleasant Hill Wine Merchants. The party featured the tasty wines of Hannah Nicole Winery. The place was packed, with lots of new faces.

Our annual Black & White Ball, on Friday night at David's Restaurant, was crowded as always. For the first time ever we had a "Best Dressed Contest." Congratulations to Gary Burns, Candee Weinburg, Charles Horowitz, Cathy Gutierrez, Bob Martinez, and Chari for their lovely outfits!

The week concluded with a Lock & Key & Dance at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Concord. Again, an excellent turnout! We hope to do one of our two New Year's Eve Bashes here. More details soon.

Next week features three more parties. On Tuesday, Oct 9, we hold our first-ever Single Pet Lovers Mixer, at The Spinnaker, a lovely waterfront restaurant in Sausalito. Feel free to bring photos of your pets, but not the pets themselves, please!

On Friday night we hold our Wine Tasting Party at The Sports Basement's giant flagship store at Crissy Field in the Presidio of San Francisco. This is a unique party because you not only get to sample some great wines, but also shop at heavy discount!

On Saturday night our Young Single Professionals are invited to a new location for us at Fiddler's Green Irish Pub & Restaurant. We have our own giant upstairs banquet room from 7:30-9:30pm, with a fun Mixer Game and appetizers; then dance all night to the music of DJ Ken.
