Parties, March 29-30, 2007

For the first time in a very long time, we did not have a dance party on this weekend. Instead, two fun Mixers. On Thursday, March 29, we sponsored our annual Novato Singles Mixer, at the lovely Hilltop Cafe. Excellent food, of course, and a nice turnout for a Thursday night!

On Friday night we did our first-ever Lock & Key in Fremont, at Massimo's Restaurant. Local singles from Fremont were most appreciative that we were doing parties in their neighborhood, and asked us to do more. We will be delighted to repeat, as we had a very nice turnout. Our singles really appreciated the generosity of Massimo's, who put out quite a spread with the Light Dinner Buffet.

Next weekend we return to our Dance Party format, with a twist. On Friday, April 6 we sponsor the Tri-Valley Singles Convention, our largest event of the year in the area. Jeannine Kaiser, "America's Dating Coach," will give an entertaining Keynote Address, followed by dancing to the great music of DJ Miguel of Startracks.

We conclude next weekend with a Silicon Valley Lock & Key & Dance at Los Gatos Lodge. The party was packed last December, when we did our last Lock & Key in Los Gatos, despite the heavy rain. Hopefully the weather will be more amiable this time, and we'll attract an even larger crowd!
