Singles Parties, April 1 - 16, 2011

Huge crowd at the Japan Quake Relief Fundraiser on Saturday, April 16, at Club Illusions in Palo Alto! Terry Hawkins, who produced the party, says that over $9,000 was raised, which will be donated to the American Red Cross. Congrats to Terry! The next fundraiser will be our annual Singles Charity Ball on Lucky Friday the 13th of May, at the Westin St Francis Hotel on Union Square in San Francisco. We raised over $12,000 last year, which enabled The Seva Foundation to restore sight to approximately 263 blind people!

• April Fools Day Dance, Friday, April 1 at the DoubleTree Hotel SFO in Burlingame went well.
• Art & Wine Tasting Party, Saturday, April 2, was our second party at Show Place Art Gallery in Berkeley. Almost as big of a crowd as last time, with lots of new faces.
• Single Mingle, Tuesday, April 5, at The Spinnaker in Sausalito. Not as big of a crowd as we usually get, but still a good attendance.
• Match Your Key Dance, Friday, April 8, at Neptune's Restaurant at Pier 39 in San Francisco. Nice turnout.
• Monterey Bay Flirting Contest & Dance, Saturday, April 9, at The Hippodrome in Monterey. Disappointing turnout. Susan Bradley gave a very entertaining talk on flirting, with excellent audience-participation. Congratulations to Nick B and Joanne Fazzino, who were won the flirting contest and were awarded the titles of Mr. and Miss Monterey Bay Flirt!
• Looking for Love in All the RIGHT Places Seminar & Mixer, Thursday, April 14, at the Walnut Creek Marriott. The small crowd really enjoyed the seminar!
• An Elegant Evening at Ondine, Friday, April15, in Sausalito. Huge turnout, once again, at this spectacular venue!

• Celebrity Matchmaker Dance Party, Tuesday, April 19, at Kaama in San Jose. Best-selling author Janis Spindel flies in from New York City to reveal "The Top 10 Mistakes Women Make." This is for ladies only at 6:30pm. The men are invited to join in the fun during the dance party, 7:30-10pm.
